Intro: On Wednesday 27th of Nov glen innes school had athletics day on the field. At sports day we did 3 sticks ,shot put , tug of war and loads more of other things.
Body: first the juniors had their race it was a 50 meter race , after their race it was time for the eggnog race I was so nervous that I couldn't even talk. First the year sevens and eight boys had to run they had to run all the way down which is 100 meter then go around the kids that are the line track and then run off to the finish line. After the year sevens and eight boys ran it was our turn I was so so so nervous that i couldn't move. After that we started to run when we started running people started going straight and me and nia jaye turned. I started to get so tired that I felt like fainting. After that we finished the race and I was so exhausted and so were my friends. The next race was the 75 meter that my friend Papiloti,Tua and Deborah were in , my friend Elenoa was cheering so loud that she almost lost her voice. The one that came first was papiloti then tua and then aria. After the 75 meter race it was time for the 100 meter my friend Papiloti was in it again and some of my other friends , Papiloti came first again. After that we started to finish and have lunch but we weren't finished with athletics yet. After having lunch we did shot put i don't know who won because I wasn't in it. Riko won 3 sticks and I don't know who won the tug of war because i had to leave early cause my mum had to go to work..
I loved athletics so much that i wish to have next year as well.
