Technology Hard Materials

 In hard materials we had to complete our designs and finish any work in the workbook that we haven't done. First I had to get my box that had my design, soft pad, M.D.F, and sandpapers in it. After that I had to sand my design with a 800 grit of sandpaper until it was kind of shiny. Next I used a 1200 grit of sandpaper to sand my design. For a while I decided to take a rest, after resting I had to get back to work, I almost completed sandpapering my design but was tired of it and didn't want to do the rest so I decided to do my work book instead. In my work book I completed page one, two, three, and four but page four took part of the whole lesson because I had to write down all the things that we did in all of our lessons step by step also all the tools I used and how much time it took for me to do it. But at that moment when I finished page four I was relieved because I finished it right before the bell rang.

Science Technology Elephant toothpaste

Elephant Toothpaste

• Equipment : measuring cup, water bottle, funnel

• Ingredients : h2o water, food coloring, dish washing liquid, dry yeast, warm water

• Method: first we poured warm water into a measuring cup. Next we put in some dried yeast and mixed it up. After mixing up the dried yeast and warm water we got a water bottle and squirted some h2o water and dish washing liquid into the bottle, after that we got the food coloring out and squirted it into the bottle but on the side of it. After that we grabbed a funnel and put it into the bottle then we poured the dried yeast and warm water into the funnel then it exploded, and that was how we made elephant toothpaste.

Today at technology Mrs jannie taught us how to make a circuit with 6 volt batteries , some copper wires , meter , light bulb ,and a switch.

First mrs jannie checked our books to see if we did our work then she brang out some copper wires , six volt batteries , light bulb s a meter and a switch. With all of those things we had to make a circuit.
A circuit is a roughly circular line, route, or movement that starts and finishes at the same place. 

Next Mrs Jannie showed us a picture of a circuit that we had to make ,Then she got us into pairs ,I was with Glaysia.  I went to go and get the 6 volt battery , some copper wires , meter , light bulb ,and a switch , then we put the copper wire on to the battery and the end of the copper wire on to the switch then I went to get some more copper wire and attached it onto the light bulb and the end of the copper wire we attached it on to the meter then we went to get one more copper wire and attached it on to the negative part of the meter then I put the end bit of the copper wire on to the battery.

After that we switched the switch on and the light bulb didn't work so we tried the circuit that we did last week and the light bulb lit. After a while we had to draw a diagram about the circuit. Then we watched a video about light bulbs . After watching the video she gave a piece of paper  and then we walked back to the bus and went back to school.

Animation

This animation is about a little boy that had a dream about flying to Mars and realised that he made the biggest mistake of his life. First the boy was watching a lot of videos about people flying to Mars on rockets ,and then he decided that his dream was to go on a trip to Mars. First he did a lot of research about flying to Mars. 10 years later his dream came true he was about to fly to Mars with the finest rocket on earth. The rocket took off flying through the clouds and out of earth all the way to Mars. When he landed on planet Mars he decided to take a look and walk around. After walking around he saw an astronaut he started to walk towards him when suddenly that astronaut brang out a knife and stabbed him and that was when he made the biggest mistake of his life. The End

Science Technolgy

Today at technology we were learning about earthworms. First we had to look at some earthworm photo's and explain what we saw in the photo. Next Mrs Yami told us that she was going to bring some earthworms out for us ,but first she showed us a slide that had a list of things that we had to do with the worms. After that she gave us some earthworms inside a container with some soil and an ice block stick ,then we had to grab the ice block stick and touch the worm with it to see what it would do ,after touching the worm with the ice block stick we had to measure it and figure out how many centimeters it is ,then Mrs Yami gave us a paper with some water on it ,we had to put 2 worms a small one and a big one on to the peace of paper and see how the worms movement's are and other stuff about it. after all those things we did we had to do one more thing and that was to read About Earthworm and underline words and a group of words. Finally the bell went and then it was time to go back to school.
